The Wizard behind the Ivory-Onslaught is the sensationally talented Alan Wayne. Alan is the Flava in the Flave; the Icing-on-the-Cake; the Stank on the Funk of ALMOST FAMOUS! Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Alan’s musical interests exploded at the age of 13 upon discovering Emerson Lake & Palmer's album Tarkus. From that point on, an old, dust covered piano that sat in his basement became the focus of Alan's interests. He later studied Music Theory and Piano. His musical influences include Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Jordan Rudess and Derek Sherinian.

Alan is a veteran of the Tri-State Music Scene. He is yet another multi-talented member of the band, playing Piano/Keys, Guitar, and Singing. He decided to join the band after working on many studio recordings with fellow band mate Dave Koch.
